4 P's, Fri. & Sat. July 22 & 23, 2005; Washington, DC
First gigs w/Ronan in many moons; felt good. No AC in venue made it pretty tough for the wife & sister and her colleague who came to check us out. AOK on stage, though, thanks to R.'s industrial size fan. Biggish crowd grew bigger throughout the night, and the folks came to dance, which was great fun, as always. Sat. night MUCH mellower--practically deserted through first set, though the AC was back, thank Heaven. Picked up a bit later on, and wrapped up most pleasantly. Haven't missed a step in terms of locking into R.'s style; sounded rock solid & sweet.
